Quick answers to the questions players ask most.
Is Splatter a Hoedown free?+
Yes. Signing up is free, and Mission 1, the Practice Range, online paint battles, Clan Crews and daily challenges cost nothing. A Mission Pass unlocks the other story missions, and paintball and cash packs are optional.
Do I need to download anything?+
No. The game runs in your web browser using WebGL, on Windows, macOS, Linux, ChromeOS, iPhone, iPad and Android.
Who is the game for?+
Adults. It's a cartoon comedy with crude humour, bikini-clad dancers and satirical drug references, made for players 17 and older. It has no official age rating yet.
Can I play with friends?+
Yes. Online co-op supports up to 4 players on a story mission, and Paint Battles support 2 to 6 players, with Red vs Blue teams once there are 3 or more. Share the 5-letter room code to invite friends.
Is there voice chat?+
Yes. Players in the same match can use push-to-talk or open-mic voice chat. It isn't recorded, and you can mute or block anyone. Text chat is also available.

Crews of up to 12 players with their own tag, colours and banner. Crews chat together, fight crew battles against rival crews and compete in weekly rankings for season rewards.
Does it work on phones?+

How do purchases work?+
Optional purchases are processed securely by Stripe. Card details never reach our servers, and items are credited to your account as soon as payment is confirmed.
