Splatter a Hoedown gameplay
A quick tour of the systems that make each run different.
Third-person paintball combat
Aim over the shoulder or switch to first person. Paint builds up visibly on clothing and skin, and a contestant is tagged after three solid hits. Aim assist can be set to gentle, lock-on or off in Settings.
Contestants that think
The AI spots you, runs, hides behind cover, side-steps when you aim straight at it and fires back. Stealthy opponents in the Trap House patrol routes, and bouncers at the Velvet Rope watch the door.
Driving the lowrider
Jump into the purple lowrider any time. Use turbo, the handbrake and hydraulic hops to run checkpoints, chase rival cars and honk to flush hiders out of cover. Car paint, including the Skull paint for Hard-mode clears, is set in the garage.
